Ambassador Case Study – Anneli

I was fortunate enough to have come into this amazing group when it was just coming together with the original members.

I thoroughly enjoyed attending the online meetings, hearing what amazing things everyone was up to and occasionally volunteering my time to speak at an event or to an individual that sought help or guidance from our team. I think what has been created here will fill a huge gap in society.

A need everyone knew was there, but no one knew how to identify. Then Worldly Wise was created and it felt so organic, so natural and easy. It has slowly grown and grown and become an indispensable resource of knowledge and experience in so many different areas of life, that was always there, but with no one to steer it. Now there is someone at the wheel and this network people had momentum and purpose. It’s just wonderful.

I have always felt supported and appreciated by this group and that’s such an important aspect of volunteering. I regularly see updates of all the brilliant things that it’s members are achieving on behalf of those that need it and it truly inspired us all to dig deep and keep giving what we can. I am certainly very impressed and I’m proud to be a part of it.

I have two events lined up where I will be speaking to secondary school students about resilience mindset and sharing my career journey. Even if just one student hears something that helps them, it will have been worth it.
