Careers Day at The Maplesden Noakes School

What a day! Worldly Wise CiC was delighted to be part of an exciting Careers Day at The Maplesden Noakes School in Maidstone, where we delivered eight diverse, action-packed STEM sessions designed to open young minds to the endless possibilities of science, technology, engineering, and maths.

Throughout the day, students explored real-world applications of STEM in interactive sessions that were both fun and thought-provoking. From digital design to coding, workplace safety to entrepreneurship, the variety of topics showcased just how broad and accessible the world of STEM can be.

We couldn’t have done it without our fantastic Business Ambassadors, who brought their passion and industry know-how into the classroom:

  • Carrie Stay, Clockwork Moggy
  • Karen Scott, futureCodersSE CIC
  • Ruth Germaine, Reflective Ruth Consultancy
  • Dr. Katy Evans, WPS (Kent) Ltd Workplace Safety

Their contributions truly made the day special—bringing careers to life, answering questions, and providing well thought, fun, interactive activities.

We’re incredibly grateful to the team at Maplesden Noakes for inviting us in and to the students who got involved with such curiosity and energy. Events like this are at the heart of what we do—empowering young people with the confidence, skills, and ambition to shape their own futures.

We look forward to more days like this, and to the bright minds we met who just might be the engineers, developers, designers, and problem-solvers of tomorrow!
